Professional Skilled Workforce
We invest in continuous staff training to ensure our team is highly skilled in working with this specific age group. Our staff undergo training in de-escalation techniques, conflict resolution, evidence-based behavioural management, and understanding complex needs such as developmental trauma and sexualised behaviours. We emphasise motivational approaches to facilitate behavioural change, creating a supportive and understanding atmosphere for our young residents.
Physical and Emotional Well-being
We maintain a well-managed, safe, and disciplined environment conducive to self-discipline and child support. Servizi Care Services ensures the physical health needs of our residents are met, promoting nutritious diets, balanced meals, and appropriate clothing. We offer access to healthcare services, recreational activities, and emotional support, valuing each child's emotional needs and fostering positive relationships.

From the very beginning of the matching process, the staff worked hard to build trust and develop a positive relationship, creating an environment where the young person felt safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. Having previously experienced a placement that did not meet her needs, she arrived with little confidence in care settings, but the Servizi team were able to rebuild that trust through consistent support and compassion.

During a recent visit, it was clear from the outset that the young person had developed a strong sense of trust in the team supporting them. The relationship between the young person and their key worker was particularly positive, with open conversation, shared humour, and genuine engagement demonstrating that the young person felt safe, understood, and comfortable within the environment. The young person spoke very highly of the staff team and the support they receive on a daily basis.

The team have a clear understanding of the young person’s care planning needs and have been proactive in advocating for the right support. This has included working with the Local Authority to clarify the young person’s learning plan, including arrangements for home tuition, as well as ensuring access to therapeutic services while living away from home. The team have also supported the young person in planning important family time and maintaining connections during key periods such as holidays.

The dedication, professionalism, and commitment shown by the staff team are evident in the care provided. Their willingness to advocate for the young person and work collaboratively with professionals ensures that the young person’s needs remain at the centre of their support.
